Biography: Amy is an experienced real estate professional with demonstrated success in commercial, retail leasing, residential sales and investments. Proven ability to assess client’s needs, establish rapport, build trust and close transactions; this proactive approach has resulted in capturing numerous accounts and expanding the client base. Excellent writing and negotiating skills, and has a strong knowledge of how the real estate market works and how to adapt quickly to change.  Amy recently moved back to New Hampshire in 2012 from New York, NY, where she was working at ABS Partners Real Estate, LLC, a well regarded commercial leasing, investment sales and third party property management firm. ABS is located at 200 Park Avenue South, across from Union Square. Amy received very good press regarding her closed transactions and is very proud to have made it into such notable publications as Crain’s Business, The Mann Report, the cover featuring ABS Partners Real Estate, LLC members, The Real Deal, New York Observer, and numerous online publications.

Beyond the real estate experience, Amy has a B.A. degree in Art History form RockfordCollege, and a Certificate in Modern Art Studies from Christie’s Education in New York, NY, a graduate level program focusing on the art market, auction house practices and connoisseurship. As a component of the program, she completed an internship in American Furniture and Decorative Arts Department at Christie’s- RockefellerCenter. Amy also played large role in the discovery an Old Master painting, by a Prague School painter that that not been correctly identified or been to auction in over fifty years; it later sold at Sotheby’s. Amy also attended The New Hampton School, New Hampton, NH, and graduated from there in 1988.

 

Professional Accomplishments:

Office: Fully leased multiple properties from a single owner’s portfolio in TriBeca.

The following properties that have been fully leased in TriBeca are, 185 Franklin Street, 18 Harrison Street the penthouse commercial condo at 6 Harrison Street- the former Old Mercantile Exchange. The total square footage leased in these properties was over 15,000 square feet of commercial office space.

Educational Use: Exclusively represented The Cooke Center for Learning & Development leased 7,250 square feet at 252 West 29th Street. The CookeCenter for Learning & Development is the largest private provider of inclusive special education services in New York City. The assignment was to fulfill the requirement for the Daily Living Lab.

Religious Use: The SoHo Synagogue located at 43 Crosby Street in SoHo, leasedthe ground and second floor of the Pritzker Architecture Prize winning property for their exclusive use as a house of worship. Amy held a leadership role in the leasing process. This transaction was completed in-house by The Dana Commercial Group at Elliman, and is the first Synagogue in SoHo proper. She moved back up to New Hampshire in August of 2012 and works for Alpine Lakes Real Estate, Inc.
