About KarenHello, my name is Karen LeFever and I have been a licensed real estate agent since 2001, working full time for the best real estate broker in the area, Century 21 Clark Properties. In 2003, I was awarded the "Rookie of the Year" in sales and in 2004 and 2005, I achieved status in the Master's Club and received recognition for Outstanding Sales Achievement and Quality Customer Service. I intimately know the Genoa, Carson Valley, Minden/Gardnerville and surrounding areas as I have lived here for over 25 years. I first moved to South Lake Tahoe in the winter of 1979 to ski, and soon realized that I wanted to make this area my home. Unfortunately, I no longer ski the slopes due to several knee injuries, but do enjoy waterskiing and wakeboarding the beautiful lakes in Northern Nevada. My family moved to the Carson Valley in 1986 and to Genoa, the oldest town in Nevada, in 1998. We also enjoy camping/RV'ing, attending sporting events, playing golf and traveling. In fact, my favorite local team is my own alma mater, the University of Nevada, Reno Wolfpack football.My husband Guy, (who is Fire Chief for the Tahoe Douglas Fire District, view site), and I have been married for over 21 years and have two daughters. One attends the University of Nevada, Reno studying education and mathematics, and the other is in high school studying boys and playing on the girl's varsity soccer team. They keep us very busy!!!Selling real estate has become my passion, not just another job. My previous career, as the Internal Auditor for Douglas County, taught me the importance of honesty and integrity. I carry the same philosophy with me today in my real estate business.
