I began in real estate as an investor. I probably made every mistake humanly possible. I went into real estate ownership starry eyed. I thought I knew everything. I thought that I knew exactlty how this whole real estate thing worked. (NOT!) If I learned anything at all it was that everything in real estate changes constantly. This was when I began my search for knowledge about the real estate industry.
I went back to school and received my AAS in real estate. I went through real estate school, went through e-pro classes and received my e-pro designation and became a realtor.
Ten years later my husband and I decided to move to Arizona. So I went back to real estate school and became an Arizona Realtor.
Starting over in a new state is like being an alien coming to a new land. Everything is so different here. However, in order to continue to be a resource for people, I constantly take classes to learn the way things are done here.
The biggest lesson that I have learned in this industry is that it is forever changing and the only way to help others is to stay on top of the market. The most recent class that I have taken was for my MRP designation. This class was awesome. I feel so privelaged to be receiving the information that I need to help our military. I have studied and learned so much about military life and the needs of the relocating military families
Helping people who are relocating is very important to me. This is such a stressful time and being able to lighten the load makes my day.
