One of my favorite quotes is, "I tell you there are no problems, only solutions". (John Lennon, Watching the Wheels) That said, I like to anticipate and prepare my clients so that we can avoid problems. I often hear clients express that they are concerned that I may be upset at their decisions. I am surprised by this, or maybe I shouldn't be? Everybody has their personal reasons for the decisions that are best for them. My job is to present them with the facts so that they can make educated decisions.
Communication is key. I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work in 1996. This has prepared me for having excellent communication skills and advocating for people translates to negotiating skills, both very much needed in Real Estate. In real estate not only is it important to know the market, but it is also important to be able to work with people in a professional manner using the skills of negotiation to help you buy or sell the property of your dreams.
