Hi, my name is Melinda Prehoda and I am a full time Realtor with DeHanas Real Estate Services in Waldorf, MD. I first joined DeHanas in November 2009. I have over 20 years of customer service experience and treat every client with the respect and professionalism that they deserve!

 I first got started in real estate when I worked as an office assistant at a local real estate company back in 1993. I worked under the office manager and also assisted about 40 agents in the office with various tasks. A few years later I gained experience and knowledge of what happens "behind the scenes" in a real estate transaction when I became a processor as well as settlement agent at a local title company. After being there for almost 5 years, I decided it was time to get back into the actual real estate side of things so I left to work as an assistant for a busy agent at Century 21 Comstock Earnest. I worked with her side by side and I gained valuable experience and "on the job training" if you will, on not only how to conduct a successful real estate transaction but how to give my clients 110%. It was then that I decided that real estate was my true passion and that it was time to take the next step. I took my pre-licensing course and then went on to obtain my real estate license. I am truly blessed to be doing what I am doing and one of the few people in this world that can honestly say "I love my job"!
