Get to Know Michael Marino
My name is Michael Marino, and I am a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser with Brown's Real Estate Services in Milton, Delaware. I will tell you a little bit about my self and how I came to be an appraiser. I spent six years in the US Navy on board the USS Cleveland LPD 7 as an electronics technician, and although I saw no combat, I am still very proud to have served. I was living in San Diego, California in 2005 when my step father passed away. It was then that I decided not to reenlist so that I could be free to help my mother and ten year old sister if needed. Unfortunately soon after my step father passed away my mother fell ill and passed. At this time custody of my little sister went to our grandparents who live in Milton, Delaware. Our grandparents are a loving couple who didn't hesitate a second to take my sister in, and although they are both healthy and strong I decided to move to Delaware in order to be close and help raise a little girl heading into her teens. Believe it or not there are not a lot of technical jobs in Sussex County, Delaware and I found myself looking for another line of work when Kurt Brown the president of Brown's Real Estate Services offered me a job. I trained under Kurt for almost two years before I could take the license exam. Now I am a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser and specialize in Sussex and Kent County, Delaware. My little sister is now almost fourteen, and will be going to high school next year. As for myself I have never been happier
