Mary was born in Denver and grew up in Ft. Collins, graduating from Ft. Collins High School. Following 5 years at Kodak, she spent 4 years as Data Processing Coordinator and Payroll Manager for WendServ Corp., and then worked for Salem Technical Services as a recruiter. Mary began her career in real estate in 1993, working at Moore & Company and The Group in Loveland, before moving to Washington State in 1996, where she was a Realtor with Windermere Real Estate.
Mary has been a successful innovator in real estate, finding new and better ways to serve her clients. In 1994, she was the first Realtor in Northern Colorado to have her own web page, and has won national recognition for her InterNet marketing efforts.
After 8 years of demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate, and participation in an extensive program of advanced educational coursework, Mary earned her designation as a Certified Residential Specialist. This is one of the most prestigious achievements available to real estate professionals, and is earned by only 5% of the nation's real estate agents. Home buyers and sellers can be assured that CRS designees subscribe to the Realtor Code of Ethics, have access to the latest technology, and are specialists in helping clients maximize profits and minimize costs when buying or selling a home. Mary also holds the GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) certification.
Dick grew up in Atlanta, attended Tulane University and UCLA, earning BA and MA degrees in economics. Following 2 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Venezuela, Dick began a 30-year career in community economic development, eventually managing organizations in Pueblo and Loveland, as well as building a successful consulting business. Dick obtained his Real Estate Broker's license in 1994 and worked on commercial and industrial projects in Northern Colorado and Washington State prior to teaming up with Mary.
The National Association of Realtors recognized Dick's capabilities in new technology by awarding him the first e-PRO certification in Fort Collins. e-PRO is a new real estate certification, designed to identify Realtors with special skills in applying the latest tools of the InterNet and e-commerce to the practice of real estate.
