Get to Know Eileen Meyer

Have been in business for over 20 years in Manhattan.  My knowledge of local trends and local economy, will be useful to both buyers and sellers.  I am a graduate of Kansas State University and a Veteran of the US Army.  Manhattan has been my home now for over 30 years. Within the community, I serve on several City Boards, am a graduate of a couple of leadership courses, and believe that in order to better serve my clients, I must also be a participant in the community.  My motto has been and remains: you must tend the earth if you want a rose.

Working with first time home buyers is one of my greatest joys.  Moving is a stressful time for all parties, Both sellers and buyers need an organized agent who dedicates their full-time attention to the profession of real estate.  As your agent, I will keep you informed of local real estate conditions, and historical trends in our market.  If you have not ever sold or purchased a property before, I encourage you to allow me to educate you on the process.  The more you know as a client, the less stressed out you will feel!

Accredidations and Achievements include:

Broker's License

Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) Courses.

Winner of Manhattan REALTOR® of the Year

Winner of Manhattan REALTOR® Spirit Award

Am finishing up my Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and my Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI).  Lots of alphabets, but to be clear, professional development is important in any field, especially when dealing with clients' investments.

I welcome your emails or text messages (please identify yourself the first time you text) .  Should you be a new arrival to this area, you may be interested in a community tour or a relocation packet.  The beauty of the Flinthills awaits you!

The North Central parts of Kansas are absolutely beautiful.  Stunning sunsets, tall grass prairie, and rolling green hills, not to forget the incredible Flinthills.  No wonder our area has appeared in the top 10 cities to retire.

Kansas State University, and Ft. Riley are key employers to our area.  The University provides our area with excellent opportunities in education, research, arts, and NCAA sports.  Ft. Riley is an historic cavalry post and home of The 1st Infantry Divistion, The Big Red One.  The Officers, Soldiers and Families of the post are very welcome to our community, and many of our military families return to Ft. Riley area for retirement.

Manhattan and Wamego both offer up the talent of our locals within the productions of the Manhattan Art Center and The Columbian Theatre.  Classes are also available for music, painting, pottery and performance to name a few.

If you are a fitness fanatic, or simply enjoy walking trails, The Manhattan-Ft. Riley-Wamego area does have ample opportunities for hiking and biking trails, Are you a golf enthusiast?  Colbert Hills Golf Course is a PGA course that will surely challenge the best of golfers.  Wamego Country Club, Manhattan Country Club, Ft. Riley Golf Course, Stagg Hill Golf Course and Wildcat Creek Golf Course are also great places to go and swing a club.

Fishing, Camping Hunting, Water Skiing, Canoing and sledding opportunities await you!  The bass are biting at Lake Milford and Tuttle Creek Lake.  Pottawatomie has several state lakes with excellent access for boats.
