Get to know Melissa Blake

As a real estate agent since 2009, I take care of every client I have, buyer or seller! I've worked in the field of law for fifteen years, I have obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Phoenix University and became a business owner in 2005. Over the course of the last three years I have helped many people find their new homes! I am dedicated to helping you through the purchase or sales process every step of the way. I am open to every question! I am very family-oriented and as such, I listen carefully to what each family needs. I don't want to put you in just a house, I want to help you find a place you can call home. Each family has their own specific needs and I tailor my real estate searches to meet them. As a seller's agent, I will work with you to make sure that your house is presented in the most favorable manner possible, to ensure that it is priced accurately, and to make sure it is marketed appropriately to attract buyers.

When someone tells me something is impossible, all I hear is that he or she in particular cannot do it. If it can be thought, it can be done.

Certified Distressed Property Expert: In other words, CDPE. What that means is I have the knowledge and skillset to help guide distressed homeowners through the sale of their house to avoid foreclosure. I feel it is important for homeowners to know that while foreclosure is a scary thing, it isn't a defining event of their lives. There are many solutions to foreclosure and together, we can explore the options and find the best one for you and your family. Foreclosure is not an event, it is a process. Let me help you avoid that process.

But, this certification is not only beneficial for the property sellers, buyers benefit from my expertise too! I can help them to better understand why it is such a lengthy process to enter into a short sale and help them weigh the pros to the cons. I'm sure you have heard the expression "all good things come to those who wait". The market is saturated with short sales, bank-owned properties, and properties in ill-repair. As a buyer's agent, my commitment to you is to help you sift through all of these listings and help you, my client, find the listing that meets your needs best and help you understand everything that will have to go into that process. No, it is not a 30-day close, but it is well worth the wait. All good things are!
