We started our title company in August 1997 after working for other mortgage and title companies for the five years prior to that.  Christy supervised a settlement department at a large mortgage company and Laura managed a title operation.  Combining forces, we knew we'd have the complete package.  We could perform all title functions while also having the knowledge and experience of the mortgage process to successfully explain that side of the equation to our customers.  We'd also seen too many title companies bad-mouth the mortgage companies and real estate agents - essentially biting off the hand that fed them.  We form relationships with our lenders and agents.  We're a team.  If we didn't trust them to work hard for our borrowers, we simply wouldn't work with them.  It's been easy to succeed when working with people you respect.
