Get to Know Bill Lydon
Twenty years ago we began our love affair with the White Mountain area and all it had to offer...the mountains, the rivers and the lakes. I was the city mouse...Boston, and my wife-to-be was the country mouse...the South Shore. We soon learned to paddle a kayak in a relatively straight line, build a campfire that would not go out leaving us sitting in the cold, and hide from those wonderful black flies.
On our first wedding anniversary we decided to take a magnificent and bold step and purchase our own vacation spot...a cabin and five acres nestled in the woods of South Conway. What a great decision ...ask all our family and friends! A few years later, after spending all possible weekends in the White Mountains we moved up to the cabin, bought the five acres next door and built our "dream" home where we live with our three dogs and cat.
We consider ourselves very fortunate in that we get to live and play in an area that people dream of coming to and that offers all of us so much: skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, swimming and just dozing on the porch...can you smell the pines and hear the breeze coming up the hill?
