I've lived in a historic home for many years that was built in 1890 and survived the 1900 storm. An interesting fact about my house is that they cut holes in the floor to keep the house from floating away and at the very top they cut a hole in the roof to pull people inside from the massive water deluge. So I have a strong affinity for, and even a lot of gained knowledge, regarding the many victorian homes on Galveston island.
I like to spend my free time gardening, bird watching, hiking, enjoying the beach, and talking to the many visitors I meet about island real estate!
