Best place to walk, jog, or have a picnic is Battlepoint Park.  There is also the most wonderful kids playground you have ever seen, built by the community/ volunteers a few years ago.  It was called "Kids Up!"                                                    

The best sunset is in Fort Ward State Park, with colors that are so bright.  Fort Ward State Park can be accessed a couple of different ways.  There is a trail that goes along the waterfront that is a blast for any age, and in the summertime the trail is surrounded by baby pink roses in the summer.  You can also pick blackberries to make jam.

The best view of Seattle is on your way to Rockaway Beach at a place called Bill Point.  This is only one mile from our office!  Just before Bill point is a new off leash dog park, it is called Pritchard Park.  A long stretch of beach wonderful for walking.

Rockaway Beach is a fabulous place to view the fireworks on the fourth of July.  From this particular location you can not only see Ivars' fireworks but you can also see the Lake Union display.

A fun place to play golf is Meadowmeer located off of Koura Road.  It is a narrow course (bring lots of balls)  and only has nine holes, but it is so relaxed and friendly there!  And in their kitchen you will find they have the best seasoned grill, making their burgers my favorite.  It is open to the public and since it is at the top of a hill, it seems ten degrees warmer when you are there! 

Best fishing dock, Country Club located on the south end of the Island off of Country Club Road.  This is a private community, but the dock for fishing is at the entrance and great fun for anyone who loves to fish.
