My family moved to Big Bear in 1974 to escape the city and live in this beautiful mountain playground. After 30+ years of living here, I am still grateful everyday that they made that decision! There is not a location in Southern California that fits my family's lifestyle better!After graduating from high school here in Big Bear, I attended the University of Redlands where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies. I have lived and worked in other cities throughout southern California but none of them can compare to life for us here in this beautiful valley. When the decision came on where to raise my own kids, there was no question where I wanted to be! Where else can we enjoy living in the mountains and also still be in close proximity to all of the other fun that So Cal provides. We enjoy all that Big Bear has to offer, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, mountain biking, boating, hiking, kayaking and more!When people ask me what it's like living in Big Bear, I tell them, "It's like living everyday of your life on vacation!"
