There's no denying that technology is an important part of our lives nowadays. It can make life better for all of us, especially those of us in real estate.
But I've come to understand that while computers may give my customers an edge, they can't begin to replace the human aspect of the business. The listening...the caring...the understanding.
Whether you're buying or selling a home, relocating, or just looking for some honest answers, you'll find that I have a sincere interest in helping you.
I've built my business on the concept of "high touch," and to me that means being available to my clients, armed with the information they need, and equipped with the kind of integrity on which they can rely.
There is a human element present in each and every real estate transaction. It's not all just contracts, negotiations, offers, and counter-offers.
A good agent, like myself, recognizes the emotional needs of buyers and sellers, and works to satisfy those desires. This is just as important as the financial particulars.
When you work with me, you can be assured I'll take the time to get to know you, as a person and as a family, and that I'll address all that you hope to accomplish, professionally and personally.
People often ask me, "What part of town do you specialize in?" I always reply, "I specialize in my clients." Might sound corny, but it's true. My priority is you.
Oh, here's the part where I tell you about my background.
A Phoenician since 1967, I remember when the Scottsdale Road and Shea intersection was the end of Scottsdale. I grew up in the Arcadia area, now home of roof rats. I went to Kaibab Elementary School, which was closed down. I graduated in the top 2% of my class from Scottsdale High School, which was also closed down. The University of Arizona was afraid to accept me!
After graduating from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's Degree, a Certificate of Gerontology, and a Master's Degree, I spent eleven years as a social worker, primarily working with the elderly and disabled. That is where I honed my skills at listening to clients, assessing their needs, and helping them reach their goals.
Real estate has become a great transition from social work, because it still allows me to help clients make important decisions and to guide them through the buying/selling process.
I have been a REALTOR® since 1999 and have sold over 145 homes. I have earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) (only 4% of REALTORS® nationwide are CRS), the Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI), and the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) professional designations. I am also a member of the Master of Real Estate Society (MRE) of which less than one percent of Arizona REALTORS® are members. I have led the weekly meetings at the John Hall & Associates main office since 2002.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
85% of my business comes from referrals. The other 15% from corporate relocation.
I moved to the Phoenix area in 1967 and am very familiar with the surrounding cities. I have sold homes in Avondale, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Peoria, Sun City West, Sun City, Surprise, Glendale, Phoenix, Carefree, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Ahwatukee, Chandler, and Gilbert.
I am very patient with first-time homebuyers.
