I remember visiting Ocala in the early 1980’s and being captivated by miles of rolling pastureland, granddaddy oaks and the site of breathtaking horse farms around every turn. Hearing the birds singing in the morning, eating lunch downtown in the Square surrounded by Historic Structures and being able to travel at the “speed limit” without endless traffic, was not something I was use to being raised in South Florida.
While learning to buy and sell thoroughbred race horses and raise Angus cattle, I began my Real Estate career and began working for a prominent new home builder/developer in Marion County, Florida, Irvin Construction Company, Inc.
Continuing to pursue my passion for Real Estate, I accepted a position with a local cellular phone company and began acquiring properties and constructing cellular towers. During that time, I worked with county, state and federal government agencies obtaining zoning, environmental and regulatory approvals for new tower properties throughout the State of Florida, which gave me invaluable experience and knowledge that would benefit me in my Real Estate career.
My philosophy is “to those who much is given, much is required” and recognized at an early age I would be called to do great things. I credit my father, a 50 year sales veteran, for inspiring my work ethics. He exhibited loyalty, honesty, hard work and always put his customer’s needs first above his own, which I admired.
I continue to pursue my dream of owning and maintaining my farm. I am still involved in the horse industry, and strongly believe in giving back to the community by being associated with various charities. In 2006 I began making hand crafted belt buckles, in addition to maintaining my top producing Real Estate business. In March of 2007, we were featured in Ocala Style Magazine crediting the achievements in my buckle business, which goes by the name of Learway Originals.
While the market has changed over the years, I still love what I do and look forward to each day.
I am proud to be a Realtor with 20+ years experience in Central and North Central Florida. With my background, I am very knowledgeble of the workings of everything "Real Estate" from Large and Small Farms to Cattle Ranches to Sellers and Buyers in 55+ Communities, as well as First-time Home Buyers. I enjoy working with both Sellers and Buyers. I also love to hunt and have worked with avid and recreational Hunters to find the right Hunting Tract. My love of the Cattle Industry allows me to feel comfortable assisting clients that wish to list or buy large Cattle Ranches throughout Florida. I also enjoy very much working with Retirees looking for that special place to call home in the Sunshine State. I have sold and listed commercial real estate and multi-family housing as well. I also assist those that wish to rent here in the area. I enjoy working in all areas of Real Estate to assist both buyers and sellers.

| Linda Lear guided us well throughout the process of selling our beloved 119 Acre Farm in Marion County, Florida. She also represented the Buyers in the sale of our farm. She proved to be a lon g haul, stick to the job, do the chores, pay attention to details kind of Real Estate Agent. Linda had excellent advice on how to make our Farm most appealing; from areas needing paint to staging to putting our Farm in its best light. Linda did not leave any detail or any important fact undisclosed or undiscussed. I highly recommend any Seller to take advantage of Linda’s skills and hard work to get the property Sold. I believe I now have a good friend, as well as a good connection for any other Real Estate I might want to pursue in the future. |

| This past winter had us ready to leave Colorado and head to Florida for some much needed sunshine. After looking in the Phoenix area, we began focusing on southern Florida around Ft. Myers and Punta Gorda, before considering the possibilities of living in the Ocala area. The climate, scenery, traffic, and lifestyle of the Ocala area are far more appealing to us than the other areas that we considered. We were also amazed by the prices of the properties and the amenities that are included in the developments, and Linda helped make the process smooth and easy. Linda was a great fit for a Realtor from the first time we contacted her. She took the time to find out what was really of interest to us and supplied us with listings that fit our initial requirements. After trimming the listings down to three homes, each in four different subdivisions, she scheduled two full days to drive me around to show me the locations, homes, and amenities – all of this even though we had never met in person and our only contact had been on the phone and by e-mail. As a result of those two days, I was able to come up with a short list of three homes located in an Adult Living Community so my wife could fly out from Colorado to view the homes with us. The result was that we were under contract by noon two days later and headed back to Orlando to catch a flight home. Being long distance buyers, we feel very lucky and are especially happy to have a Realtor like Linda Lear representing us and pulling all of the loose ends together. This seems like it could be a daunting task to try to coordinate from a distance without having someone like Linda involved on the front lines. |

| I was helping my parents sell a piece of property that they've own for years in the northern part of the state, and I asked a friend and local realtor to recommend someone in that area who would be knowledgeable. | From the first time I met Linda Lear, I was very comfortable with her. She is very friendly and soon became someone that I trust. Her advice was excellent, from pricing to how to show the home to the best advantage. She was available every time I contacted her and was prompt to answer her voice mails. She worked closely with other realtors, who were also trustworthy. Linda told me that she would not send another realtor that she would not want in her own home. She spent a lot of time going over the bottom line, since we picked a bad time to sell and she was very sensitive to our feelings when bringing an offer that was lower than the last one. She showed the house many times and was careful to bring only prospective customers who would be interested in a home of our type rather than wasting their time and ours. I think proximity to town and hospitals, etc. were among the reasons the home didn't sell. I count her among my friends, and still keep in touch with her. I would recommend her to anyone. She will use all of her many skills to represent you well. |

| My husband and I decided to sell our farm a couple of years ago. We had our farm listed for a little over a year with another Agent and did not have a very much success. So we took our farm off the market to reasearch and find the right Real Estate Agent for us. We am so fortunate that we found Linda Lear. We could not have asked for anyone to have worked any harder to help us get our farm sold. She was a true blessing. We have so many great things to say about Linda, but I can tell you one thing she was truely AMAZING throughout the whole selling process of our farm. She walked us through the whole selling process and let us know what we needed to do before we put our home back on the market. She was very professional and always had our best interest at heart. | After looking at properties for years in Florida we decided to look in Ocala where a family member recommended Linda Lear. We gave Linda our basic criteria and planned a visit to work with her. Linda selected just a few homes she thought matched our criteria and were in our price range as an initial reality check. We were impressed with Linda's preparation and understanding of our interests. We saw just a handful of homes with her in less than a day and bought the second house she picked for us. What a contrast; this was the sixth home we've purchased and our experiences with realtors were all predictably the same - too many homes to see in a day, most being out of our price range or not what we were looking for. It seemed realtors all worked from the same playbook - trying to wear us down until we'd buy one of their listings. Linda was totally refreshing, it was like working with a partner, not a salesperson. She made it easy and fun to buy our home. About a year later I again utilized Linda's skill and knowledge to help me find vacant land for an investment. Unlike a home, I was clueless what to consider when buying land but I trusted Linda. She qualified my interests and worked with me through the learning curve avoiding many potential pitfalls. Her first hand knowledge of Marion, Levy and Citrus counties proved invaluable. She respected my modest budget yet was generous with her time. This experience was also successful with all indications that we made good property investment.
