Get to Know Justin Lawhorn
Justin Lawhorn and the staff of Pro Texas Insurance are very invloved in the Round Rock community through the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, Round Rock Rotary Club, and Williamson County A&M Club. Justin has personally grown up in Round Rock when his family moved to the area when he was in the third grade. Justin attended Brushy Creek Elementary, Chisholm Trail Middle School, and graduated from Round Rock High School in 1995. Justin then attended Texas A&M University and became the fighting aggie class of 1999. He nows lives with his wife Courtney, their son Drake and their daughter Kingsley in Hidden Glen neighborhood in Round Rock, Texas.

I (Justin) am a self-claimed guru of Health Insurance--Individual and Group, Life and Financial Services. I have personally been licensed in the state of Texas for seven years. I started my insurance career in South Austin at a financial services company where I eventually was put in charge of sales for the individual and group health insurance customers. I worked their for 2 years before I started Lawhorn Insurance --now known as Pro Texa Insurance. I currently write health insurance with Golden Rule, Aetna, CIGNA and Blue Cross Blue Shield. I have a passion to teach like everyone else in our agency when it comes to describe the health insurance that best fits each of our customers needs. I have always felt that if you teach someone how to properly purchase an insurance product the first time, they feel comfortable using the insurance and will always come back to you when they need to make changes.
My dad Craig Lawhorn came on board with us in 2006 and is in charge of our Commercial/Business Insurance division. He writes all of our commercial insurance through Farmers Insurance and several outside line carriers like Texas Mutual, Hartford and Safeco.
Opal Vallejo is our Customer Sales Representative that currently services out personal lines auto and home customers and is diligenty working to get licensed. Opal works mainly with our Farmers Insurance customers and keeping them happy with the excellent service we provide them.
