PRESS RELEASE: Houston, TX Kimberly L. Harding, Sales Associate with RE/MAX Space Center, has earned the prestigious Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) advanced professional designation. The GRI designation, conferred by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), is presented to REALTORS® who have completed a comprehensive education program in residential real estate. The program's focus is on practical real estate training, and includes over 90 hours of course work on real estate law, servicing listed properties, and marketing.Prior to entering real estate, Harding spent eight years in the Aerospace Industry as an Executive Assistant with Lockheed Martin and Spacehab, Inc.. Her experiences working alongside astronauts Gene Cernan, Mike Lounge, and Dr. Bernard Harris confirmed her belief in the power of education, and she has maintained that commitment into her realty care "More than ever before, it is crucial that REALTORS® embrace continuing education as a vital part of their ongoing business development," said Harding, an area native and eleven-year resident of League City. "Issues of seller liability, constantly evolving laws, insurance, and other key areas in today's increasingly complex transactions demand that consumers have confidence in their REALTOR®'s level of preparedness. My next goal is acquiring my CRS (Certified Residential Specialist)." A member of the Houston, Texas, and National Associations of REALTORS®, Harding takes classes in her few spare hours towards completing her BA in Marketing, and twice weekly teaches computer classes on a volunteer basis to 4th graders at her local elementary school. She additionally serves on RE/MAX Space Center's fundraising committee for Children's Miracle Network®, which has seen over $50 million donated by RE/MAX offices since becoming the charity's exclusive real estate sponsor in 1992. "Our office is conducting a great children's fundraiser this May 20," said Harding. "We're having a bowl-a-thon, which generated approximately $30,000 the last time we did it. The money stays right here in the Greater Houston area, helping children with every imaginable form of serious injury and illness." Harding's office at RE/MAX Space Center is located at 1720 NASA Parkway, Ste. 101; she can be reached at (281) 336-2211, or by visiting www.kimberlyharding.com.
COMMITTMENT - I specialize in personal attention, and promise to provide the highest level of dedication and integrity in performing all my real estate services. I enjoy working with people and all of the challenging aspects involved in marketing and in negotiating the sale or purchase of property on my client's behalf. Service is my priority and I'm committed to being involved in every aspect of the real estate transaction. BUYERS - Buying a New Home Without Representation Can Cost You Money! BUYER REPRESENTATION IS VERY IMPORTANT WHEN BUYING A NEW HOME! Don't make the mistake of passing up FREE REPRESENTATION thinking you will get a better deal without a Realtor. It does not work that way. Most builders are great. But even the best ones are there for one reason - their profit. The builder has professionally educated representation throughout the entire transaction - from a trained salesperson, the project manager, the contractors, the construction superintendents, the mortgage company, the title company, the surveyor, the appraiser, the brick manufacturer, the plumber, the electrician, the attorney and so on. And, they might have even told you that you did not not need a Realtor to buy one of their homes. Well, the truth is, you don't. But without buyer representation, its you against an entire team of trained professionals who work for the builder.
