As a real estate professional, Jane learned early in her career that success would come as a result of hard work and dedication to her buyers and sellers. "What a buyer wants most is to find the right home, at the right price, hopefully in as few steps as possible," she says. "They aren't interested in spending their entire life with a real estate agent. I try to get them to the right property as soon as possible, and if they feel good about it, they buy it. It's just about that simple," she continued.

Jane credits her success largely to being a person who gets the job done. "Every seller I've ever talked to is interested in one primary thing, selling the property and getting their money, and that's what my job is," she said.

Jane claims that 90% of what causes a property to sell, and to sell for top dollar, is settled between her and the sellers before she even agrees to take their listing. "I'm not just running around taking any old listing out there, when I agree to market a property, I put everything I've got into it," she says, "and I don't work with people who aren't serious about selling." Finicky maybe, but apparently she's doing a lot of things right. "I guess I am a little picky, but I do a lot for my customers, and I expect some degree of loyalty from them," she explains.

Nationwide the real estate industry, like other industries, has gone through enormous changes, much of it due to technology. Jane believes in utilizing every tool available to her, especially communications technology, which allows her to communicate information to buyers and sellers immediately.

Through Jane's interactive, content rich websites, the lead generation from AutoResponders, mail lists, and information extracted from her Site tracking and web management software, many buyer inquiries are generated.  In an effort to maximize all services, traditional and digital, Jane monitors feedback communication with other agents, while tracking showing progress for her sellers.  This enables her to "read" the market on a daily basis to consistently study the position of the property on a more regular basis. This scrutiny allows Jane to assess the properties position with new and pending properties as they enter the market as a competitive entity.  Other agent feedback helps to correct issues that are concerns of the prospective buyers to help re-define marketing efforts for shorter marketing periods, and push the boundaries for higher dollar offers per property.
