I am a native Californian who was born in Monterey and I've lived most of my life in this glorious "Golden State". I fell in love with Del Norte County back in 1990 and sworn that one I would live here. I finally moved to Crescent City in 2006. This is the REAL Northern California!! The breathtaking, rugged ocean views and awe-inspiring ancient redwood trees are a perfect backdrop to this place I now call home. Unspoiled and unlike any other place on earth, Del Norte County has a lot to offer. It has miles of pristine beaches and coastlines, several wild and scenic rivers, abundant wildlife, unique attractions and events, lively arts and culture and a small, friendly hometown feel.
