Toward that end Jim does employ the time-honored method of picking up a phone or making a personal visit. He also uses his technological skills to make information instantly available to his clients.

Jim's experience in using technology to enhance communications is extensive. While employed in the procurement division of IBM, he worked with suppliers to enable them to connect electronically with IBM systems and worked with procurement teams to help automate, streamline, and improve their systems and processes.

He also automated the systems for the high-end furniture import business he and his wife own. He did it so well that she now runs the business almost single-handedly, while still caring for their two small children.

Jim's earlier employment also gave him the opportunity to hone his negotiating skills in order to gain cooperation and agreement from parties with differing objectives and goals.

Along with an undergraduate degree in History from the College of Charleston, Jim holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Warrington Collage of Business at the University of Florida. He enjoys finance and numbers and is adept at showing his clients exactly what a buying price or a selling price means to them. He believes good decisions are always based on sound knowledge – and he doesn't believe a client should ever be subject to surprises at the closing table.

Although he enjoys a variety of interests, Jim and his wife spend most of their spare time with their two small children. They can often be found walking the many paths of Celebration, FL with their English Springer Spaniel or at one of the many pools and parks in Celebration, FL. They also enjoy family time at the theme parks and have Disney annual passes.
