I had been turned away by other agents and was informed by the “#1 law firm” handling short sales in Minnesota that I would not be successful with a short sale and that our only choice would be foreclosure or foreclosure and bankruptcy. I was determined to find a different way and talked 13 real estate agents. I received 13 different answers and when I asked questions hard questions the information soon became vague, misleading or completely inaccurate except for the last agent that I talked to. I was very frustrated by the time I called Joe Niece but I was actually hopeful from the information on his website. I found him listed when I Googled my city name and short sale. I went to his site first and he had hours and hours of information and video that I read and watched before I finally decided to call him. He answered my call right away and started asking me questions. I think he asked me 5-6 questions and then told me that he was confident that I could be successful with a short sale. He pointed out that my lenders were some of the harder lenders to work with but added that he had been successful with all of the short sales he had done with my lenders. I was wary at first but as I asked questions I felt less and less of the anxiety that I had been living with for several years. He answered my questions thoughtfully, with conviction and quite a bit of knowledge and insight. Joe was patient when I was overwhelmed, yet the taskmaster that I needed to keep me on track. He helped me with insight into the process, especially what red flags were and how to avoid them. For me, this process went beyond real estate to fundamentally being my guardian angel. Today I’m living the benefits of a new life. I have a clear and clean future. I do not have to look over my back at work or at home. I appreciate that short sales, done the right way, are not difficult but it sure seemed impossible before I met Angela. I’m glad that I picked up the phone and called when I did. |
