I grew up west of Boston and when I was 15 years old, I visited Duxbury for the first time to watch the 4th of July parade with local friends.  From that very day, I knew that I wanted to live in this special community "when I grew up".  Thirteen years later I made that dream a reality and since 1997 I have lived in Duxbury with my husband Joe Messina, our son Sam and two dogs, Cassie the lab and Bean the pug.  

My career in real estate took a slightly more circuitous route.  I've always been drawn to positions that have a strong customer service element and the requirement to wear many hats and juggle a multitude of details at once.  I started in real estate when I moved to Duxbury in 1998, but found that I needed to learn the area and build a network before I could be an effective agent.  I returned to my former career as an event planner for The Catered Affair, a high-end caterer in the area.

My husband and I joke that the two most stressful times in a person's life are getting married and buying a house, and I've chosen to work in both of those fields!  I am driven by the desire to turn each situation into a rewarding and fruitful experience for my clients.  Keeping clients happy while managing all of the moving parts is like a puzzle to me and my goal is to solve the puzzle with as little stress and as much fun as possible.

My passion for real estate works well with my other skills and abilities.  For the past three years and a half I worked as a listing coordinator and assistant for Liz Bone, the South Shore's #1 real estate agent.  I managed all aspects of her business, including meeting with buyers and sellers, writing MLS listings and descriptions for each property, overseeing home inspections, drawing up contracts as well as hosting broker tours and open houses.  During this time, I was able to have a few buyers and sellers clients of my own and I absolutely loved working with them.  Being completely immersed in all aspects of her business gave me the skills, knowledge and confidence I need to be a truly outstanding real estate agent.
