Get to Know JC Wood
I was born in Rockledge, Florida and raised in Brevard County Florida. My mother worked for Boeing at the "Cape" near Kennedy Space Center and my father owned a successful local machine shop. I received my education at three different public institutions; Mila Elementary, Jefferson Middle School and finally Rockledge High School. I was very active in sports including baseball, surfing and paintball.
Growing up on the east coast of Florida naturally influenced my love for boating, fishing and being close to the water in general. I have never lost that desire, so with my spare time you will find me near or on the water. I am a single father and very proud of my 4 year old son! Being a father has definitely changed my perspective on what's important. My goal as a dad, is to ensure my son has a fun, loving and happy childhood. Before becoming a Realtor® in 2005 I worked in the field of underground utilities, helping to develop Brevard and Orange Counties. I started my real estate career at RE/MAX working with my father. Together We Sold Over $150 Million Dollars of Brevard County Real Estate. After 5 years of being a top producer with RE/MAX, I decided to join Power Realty to better serve my clients, taking advantage of the unique marketing strategies Power Realty offers. I am a firm believer in continuing education. I am a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE©). Due to the market's recent history, I have unfortunately become well experienced in distressed property transactions; Foreclosures & "Short Sales". My ultimate objective as a CDPE© is to help every homeowner avoid foreclosure!
