I was born right here in Atlanta, GA. Yes, one of “The Twelve.” However, I was taken, against my will at the age of four, to be raised by my parents in my mother’s hometown of Eastman, GA. I returned to Atlanta in 1982 to attend Georgia Tech.
I was married to the former Jennifer Fordham of Peachtree City in 2004. We are the proud parents of Audrey (2010), Austin (2006), Breanna (1993), & Brittney (1988). Brittney made us grandparents of Canaan Duncan (Dec. 2007) & Sadie (2010).
Jen & I have lived in Smyrna since our marriage. We bought a bank owned foreclosure in 2004 and have been working on it ever since…a labor of love, most of the time.
I love my community. My church, Cumberland Community Church is completely committed to this area and “does church outside the walls” in the Smyrna area quarterly. I am also a Member of the Rotary Club of Smyrna. In 2012-2013, I will serve as President of our local club. Feel free to join me. Lunch is on me. More Info
I sold my first home as a FSBO in 2004, but was licensed to sell real estate in 2006 just as the market began to decline. I have learned the Real Estate business in the toughest market in my lifetime, maybe ever. The education has been priceless.
I am a learning based individual. since entering the Real Estate Industry full time in 2006 I have sought to continue to educate myself so that I might better serve my community. After having successfully completed severalshort sales, I became one of the first CDPE’s (Certified Distressed Property Expert) in the Atlanta Market. I have helped numerous people that found themselves in desperate situations to successfully navigate the short sale process and avoid foreclosure. Realizing that the market was perfect for investors, in 2011, I became a member of the first class of CIAS (Certified Investor Agent Specialist) in the Atlanta Market.
