Prior to my career as a real estate consultant, I worked in fashion, tourism & hospitality and most recently after receiving my BSW from the University of BC, I spent more than a decade as a social worker working with families. I have a true passion for working with people and creating relationships. I enjoy working alongside people to find the right home in the right neighbourhood. It's about - Partnerships. I also believe in giving back and actively volunteer in my local youth soccer association, The Realtor's Care Blanket Drive and Canuck Place Children's Hospice. I love working with first time buyers (singles and families) - there is so much to learn through their education and the joy they experience in being able to become homeowners is contagious! The home buying and selling process is a transitional time for everyone and I particular enjoy working with people where life transitions have brought them to a place of great change. Some joyful, some not so much.
Working and living in a city of high immigration has also provided me with many opportunities to work with newcomers to the country. I get to work alongside other realtors in partnership as I only speak one language! More learning!!! :)
The areas of Richmond, Ladner/Tsawwassen are the most comfortable and familiar for me. I have lived in these communities most of my life and raised my children here. I know the schools, the sport teams, the little shops, the contractors . . . the stuff that makes up the fabric of any community.
Just 5 minutes south of Vancouver and located in the delta at the mouth of the Fraser River the vibrant island community of Richmond, The Village of Ladner & Tsawwassen. Beautiful!
