The key word is work.  My job is to help you manage your real estate needs, whether you are buying or selling a property.  I serve as an interface between you and the process, helping you every step of the way. 

Are you a buyer?  I am an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) - a specialty that brings more professional representation and greater attention to buyer needs than generally practiced by most agents.  We begin with a talk about what you want, what you need, and what is most important to you in a home.  We look at how you will commute to work and what types of activities are in the surrounding area for your free time.  And we discuss finances - what information you need to provide to be pre-approved by a mortgage lender.  Once you know what you CAN spend, you need to decide what you WANT to spend on a property.  After we have a plan, I will identify properties that could work for you and we'll go out exploring.  When we find what you're looking for, I'll counsel you in preparing an offer at the "right" price and negotiate on your behalf until you have an accepted offer.  I stay with you every step of the way through the attorney review process, inspections, appraisal, and closing.  Finally, I will remain a resource to you as you learn to navigate your new community.

Seller?  When we meet, I'll ask you about your home and your reasons for selling so that I can pinpoint the best sales approach for your needs.  I'll want a tour of the property and we'll speak about the marketing tools I will use to sell it for the most money in the least amount of time.  Then, I'll come back in a day or two with an analysis of recent sales in your neighborhood using the same techniques used by appraisers.  I'll compare your home to properties currently on the market and working together, we will establish a most likely selling price.  I will help you decide what, if anything, needs to be repaired, replaced, or repainted prior to showing to boost your sale price.  Every day is important when you first go on the market.  I will flood local agents and buyers with opportunities to see your home for themselves - my goal is for your home to be the FIRST one to sell in your neighborhood or price range.  Once you have an accepted offer, I will represent you at home inspections, offer counsel during the appraisal process, and help ease your move.  And if you are down-sizing or transitioning to a new lifestyle in retirement, I am a Seniors Real Estate Specialist SRES) with added training in managing the issues that go along with moving from your long-time family home.

Buyer or seller, I will work with you as a partner in the process.

Of course, I also work with all types of residential buyers and sellers as well.  We may live on a farm, but we still have friends and family with parents who are retiring and children who are starting families and buying their first homes.  You can be confident that I will care for your friends, for your family, as if they were my own.  As an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), I pay special attention to the representation of buyers in the marketplace - focusing on their needs rather than available inventory.  My training as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist allows me to deal tactfully with the challenges that go along with the changing housing needs of retirees and selling the family home.

Relocation enables me to leverage my years of experience to help you transition to a new home at your new workplace.  You will come to rely on my calmness, patience, and common sense to get you through this stressful time in your life.  I am certified by Cartus Relocation as a Referral (Buyer) Specialist and as a Marketing (Seller) Specialist and work by arrangement with a broad array of other relocation management companies, as well.
