| The only reason I did not rate Mary Harmston on negotiation skills is because my husband and I did not get to the point of buying a property, so we didn't see her negotiation skills in action. But I have every reason to believe she would be as competent and professional and effective at negotiating as she was at everything else. We've known Mary for just over a year and not only have the utmost respect for her as a realtor, we consider her a friend. While we decided to rent in Carmel, for many different reasons, for our first six months on the peninsula, we entertained the idea of buying a house or condo. Mary came highly recommended to me by my brother, Larry Bishop, a realtor in Lakeway, Texas, so when we were ready to look, we contacted her. She was wonderful from Day One--informed, responsive, professional, available, and funny. You could not find a nicer realtor, nor one more generous with her time, or more familiar with this area. In many cases, she knew better than we did what we were looking for, and got us to see properties we might not have otherwise considered. But if I had to say what I appreciate most about Mary Harmston it is her absolutely-no-pressure attitude. She doesn't want you to buy a house unless you have fallen in love with it. | I typically don't give 5 stars to anyone or anything but Mary truly is exceptional. Mary was a tremendous help in finding a home when we were relocating to Monterey from Rhode Island. Her caring professional attitude allowed the process to be as streamlined as possible. Since we were unable to visit in person she went above and beyond taking pictures and videos of prospective homes, explaining each step of the process. My wife and I enthusiastically recommend Mary Harmston. Thank you Mary! |

| We recently bought some real estate in Monterey and it was a pleasure working with Mary. She was pleasant, very efficient, on the ball, and knew her "stuff" I called to make an appointment to see some houses and in a two days she was ready to show us about eight places and ready to see more - if we wanted! Mary was attentive to detail and to my requests which she responded to in record time (usually within a few hours). I believe that it was largely due to her that we were able to make a purchase that we are very happy with. We would recommend her highly and use her again in an instant! |

| We were referred by a friend of the family to Mary Harmton who helped my husband Richard and I in our search for properties in the Monterey Bay area. Mary is very professional and was always available whenever we called or emailed her. Mary's attitude and demeanor are always positive.
