After I retired as a Software Engineer at IBM I decided to do something fun! So, I went to real estate school in Austin, Texas. When I had my license I joined a small Re/Max Agency in Bastrop, Texas. A few years later my husband, Jack, decided to end his 50+ year pilot career and join me.
We opened a branch office in a local golf course community called ColoVista County Club. Sales were great and we were enjoying our new real estate careers. During this time I acquired my Broker license and several designations--CRS, ABR, GRI, e-Pro. I had already acquired an MBA in Finance in 1975 from American University in Washington, DC.
After acquiring my Broker license I opened my own brokerage firm, Herzik Fine Properties. Jack went on to acquire his ALC designation and he is now serving on the Board of Directors of the Texas Rural Land Institute.
We have two offices--one in Bastrop in ColoVista Country Club and one in downtown LaGrange
Jack was born in Schulenburg Texas and grew up on a farm where he raised sheep. Before joining the Air Force he graduated from Texas A&M where he specialized in Agricultural Economics. So, he brings a great deal of experience to Herzik Fine Properties in the sale of acreage, and farms and ranches. Jack just received his Accredited Land Consultant designation.
We have worked buyers and sellers of large acreage, horse properties, golf course properties, historical homes and all types of residences.
Sandra has completed her designations for ABR, CRS, GRI, e-Pro and received her Broker's License three years ago.
