Get to Know George Jones

As a retired Pennsylvania State Trooper with over 27 years of law enforcement experience, I bring a different perspective to the real estate business.  Although law enforcement and real estate seem to be two completely different industries, there is one aspect that is the same.  That would be customer service.  As a trooper, I answered to the citizen; and as a real estate agent, I answer to my client.

My career with the Pennsylvania State Police was extremely rewarding.  I joined in 1985 after spending 4 years in the Air Force as a Law Enforcement Specialist.  I was a road trooper for 7 years; an undercover officer for a year; a Criminal Investigator for two years; and a Patrol Unit Supervisor for twelve years.  I was stationed in Clearfield, Corry, Erie, Coudersport and Sunbury, but spent the majority of my career in Warren.  Upon moving to Arizona, I worked for the Arizona Highway Patrol for a year before retiring from law enforcement for good.

This background is something unique when it comes to real estate agents and sets me apart from most.  Many may have more years in the real estate business, but most don't have the experience I have dealing with people under stress.  Let's face it, buying a home is one of the most stressful things a person can do, especially for the first time home buyer.

As a State Trooper, honesty and integrity was the cornerstone of my career.  I carry these aspects of my person into my real estate career.  Each person I work with is an individual looking for or wishing to sell a specific type of home.  My job is to evaluate their situation and honestly answer their questions.  Then do my best to fulfill their wishes, because nothing is more important than customer service.

Certifications

Since becoming a Real Estate Agent in 2007, I've worked with both Buyers and Sellers, first time home buyers, rentals, and investors.  Most of my clients bought and sold in the Surprise area, but I have worked throughout the Valley, including as far as Queen Creek.
