If you're working with the right agent, buying or selling your home can be a great experience! Before my real estate career, I worked for years in the legal field and managed contract administration functions for two publicly-held companies.  Dealing with contract issues and the details involved in real estate transactions are second nature to me.  In 2004 I opened my open home staging business working with homeowners and their agents to prepare their home for the market.  While home staging is always something I enjoy and offer to my clients at no additional charge, I became a Realtor because I truly love the work.  It's people-oriented, it's never the same from day to day, and is rewarding on many levels.  On a personal level, I've been through several relocations with my own family.  Every experience taught me how to make the process easier for my own clients. My area of expertise is the metro-Washington DC area and my office is in Bethesda, Maryland.

In the ever-changing real estate business, I've incorporated up-to-date training as an ongoing part of my business plan.  It's good for me and it's better for my clients.  I recently earned the Short Sale Certification for real estate agents to provide the best possible representation of both buyers and sellers in today’s challenging market.  I am an Accredited Staging Professional so I bring that expertise to every selling client to help you prepare your property for its debut on the market without the need to hire another consultant to do it.  I don't delegate - I am personally involved in every aspect of service to my clients!

There are many steps involved in the search for and purchase of a home.  I have a network of reputable mortgage providers, home inspectors, settlement companies and other professionals available to Buyers.  These are a few of the services I personally provide to each Buyer with whom I work:

Easy communication - I'm available to you to answer questions and help you find the resources you need.  I'm easy to talk to and there are no foolish questions

Market Knowledge - Real estate is my full-time job.  If I'm not working on a transaction, I'm studying the market.  I look at new listings, what's sold and what's under contract on a daily basis.  I also stay on top of community news and what's coming to the market in the near future.

Market Analysis - As a Buyer starts making the decision about where to purchase, I work to privde constant pricing analysis.  It changes daily and I'll provide Buyers with current data and trends.

Contract Negotiation - I help my Buyers construct the offer they choose to make, and I present it on their behalf in good faith.  My negotiation style is professional and focused on ethical representation of my clients.  The Buyer's needs always come first.

Home Inspections and Appraisals - I attend all inspection and appraisal appointments in person with my Buyers.  If there are follow-up items, I maintain constand communication with the Seller's agent to ensure completion of tasks.

Settlement and Closing - I work with the Buyer's closing attorney or settlement company to provide the necessary documentation and ensure we stay on schedule.  My clients have me with them at the settlement table until the transaction is complete.
