I have been a Realtor for almost 30 years, that's telling my age now. Worked in the Virginia market (Fairfax County) for 20 years and have been in Arizona for 10 years. I have my ABR, CRS, GRI, and SRES.

I think back of when I first started in reat estate. No email, no cell phones or even faxes. I would be driving the roads late at night to get initials on an offer. With living in Fairfax county I worked with a number of sellers that were living outside of the US. We would call them, review the offer, then they would send a western union wire to the main office and then it would come in the next day run. Today I work with buyers and sellers that I never meet and some will never see the house. So many things have changed over the years. When I started the interest rate were come down from 18% and today we are under 4. I worked with short sales in the 90's but that was only one or two a year, not like today with 90% of my business being short sales.

Love the weather here in Arizona but miss my family in Nebraska and on the east coast. My husband Bruce and I have one daughter, a great son-in-law and two grandkids.
