My real name is John Wayne Rountree; my friends, family and colleagues call me "DUKE". I was actually named after my grandfather and dad but was a very large baby/child/adult(currently 6"5"/215 Lbs.) and soon became known as "DUKE." I am a proud member of National Association of REALTORS, Florida Association of REALTORS and Ocala Marion County Association of REALTORS. I currently serve as 2101 MLS President and Officer/ Treasurer(2009) of OMCAR Multiple Listing Service & Chairman/ Community Awareness. I have been licensed REALTOR since 1999 and Broker since 2004 completing over 460 Hrs. of Continuing Education courses. Designations inlcude: GRI(Graduate Realtor Institute,) TRC(Transnational Referral Certifcate) & AHWD(At Home With Diversity.) I am the most proud of my "2007 Distinguished Member Service Award," the Take Stock in Children Program & my Mentee, "Backpacks4Kids" program for local charity organization ,Interfaith, which supplies backpacks full of food to needy children at our local school.
