I, Alan Abramson, was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Randolph, MA a suburb south of Boston.  I went to Thayer Academy where I found my interest in photography.  I worked on the school yearbook as one of the lead photographers.  My classmates predicted I would have a photography career with Life Magazine. 

From there, I went south to New York for college.  I graduated from Hofstra University, Long Island, NY with a degree in Marketing and Fine Arts with photography as the main concentration. I worked on the school yearbook going from Photographer, Photo Editor to Editor and won a graphic arts award for layout and design.

After graduating, I lived in Long Beach, NY (4 blocks from the beach) and commuted into Manhattan working for Ally Gargano Advertising.  You may remember FedEx, Plax, MCI and other ads Ally Gargano created from the late 80's.

Three years later, I moved back to Boston and worked in the commercial and residential construction market selling architectural aluminum and glass products.  I spent 21 years estimating, project managing, running field crews and managing a business.
