If you are a Florida Real Estate Professional, you know how hard it can be to put together a real estate deal in the current environment.  It seems that there is always something that can come along to threaten your deal:

Financing Issues Unaffordable or unavailable homeowners insurance Property tax surprises

With all of the uncertainty in the Florida Real Estate Market, the last thing you need is an unexpected surprise when it comes to Florida homeowners insurance.

You might be surprised to know that even as Florida real estate looks to make a comeback, the availability and cost of Florida home insurance continues to worsen:

Even though there are hundreds of companies licensed to sell homeowners insurance in Florida, only around 40 are actively writing any new business. If you subtract the number of companies in your Florida County that won't write older homes and homes close to the coast, that list of 40 companies can quickly dwindle to 5 or less. State Farm is moving ahead with their current plan to drop 125,000 policies. All companies including Citizens Property Insurance Corporation are moving ahead with significant rate increases at a time when many new home buyers are not able to pay the higher rates.

So how can Home Insurance Buyers Guide, LLC help you as a Florida Realtor?

Our on-line buyers guide can help you or your new home buyers find, screen, and contact Florida homeowners insurance companies still writing new business in your Florida County.

Using our guide can help you or your buyers get multiple Florida homeowners insurance quotes.

Its like sending your buyers to one place where they will be able to see all the companies writing new business, the types of homes those companies want to cover, and giving your buyers a way to see these companies stack ranked against each other.

Using our database reduces the risk that your buyer will miss out on companies that are not represented by a single Florida home insurance agent that you might normally refer your buyers to.

And by helping your new home buyer get lower Florida home insurance rates, you'll be doing everything in your power to help make sure your real estate deal closes.

It seems like there is no end to the number of recommendations Florida realtors are asked to make.

As a Florida Realtor, I'm sure that you've been approached and asked to make recommendations on everything from title companies to lawn mowing services.

So you might be interested in some of the data we collect as Florida homebuyers subscribe to our service across the state when getting ready for their closing date.  Here is a recent sampling of data we've collected:

Florida realtors recommend a Florida home insurance agent to their new homebuyer 28% of the time.

Florida realtors do not recommend an insurance agent to their new homebuyer 72% of the time.

When we first looked at this data, we were very surprised by this.  However, we asked our subscribers additional questions to gain more insight into this.

Among the 28% who said their Florida realtor recommended an insurance agent to them, a shocking 57% said they were not satisfied with that recommendation.  Reasons for that dissatisfaction include things like not being presented with enough options, not providing adequate answers to questions,  and cost.

Lets be fair to Florida home insurance agents.  They are not responsible for the high cost and poor availability.  Unfortuately they are the ones on the front line dealing directly with new Florida homebuyers as conditions in the Florida Property Insurance Market remain poor.

In any event, the data we've collected probably reinforces what you probably already know.  When you make a recommendation, it reflects on your own brand if that recommendation doesn't work out for any reason.  That might also explain why 72% of Florida Realtors are taking a hands off approach and not sending their new homebuyers to a specific agent.

Put the burden of shopping for Florida homeowners insurance back on your new homebuyer where it belongs.

Send them to our guide where they will be able to find, screen, and contact Florida home insurance companies writing new business in your area.

Our independent guide will tell them who is writing new business in your area, our buyers guide rating for that company, and how to contact either the company or an agent in your area to help them find coverage.

Don't let your Florida real estate deal fall through during these tough times due to a lack of options.

Help your new home buyers find low Florida home insurance rates and the most Florida home insurance quotes.
