I understand that buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you may face in your lifetime.  It is a very important decision that affects many aspects of your life.  Therefore, it may be important to you that you have the right person helping you through the process.  That is where I can help.   The process of buying and selling homes is not as obvious as it may seem. No matter which side of the purchase you're on, you need an experienced advocate to help you get the best deal.  

Although a Washington native, I was raised in Southern Indiana, after my family was relocated for the Navy. There I attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and was a member of the Division 1 Indiana Women's Rowing team. During this time, I met my husband, and we were married after I graduated. We decided to move back out to the Pacific Northwest after learning my husband would be stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord as an Army Chemical Weapons Officer.   We settled in Gig Harbor, and couldn't be happier. Besides being a full time real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Bain, I am active in the local community through volunteer work with the animal shelter, and as a Family Readiness Leader for my husband's battalion on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. I enjoy rock climbing and horseback riding, along with finding new places to explore, cooking, and being an amateur civil war historian.

BUYERS    

I provide a very easy, no pressure approach to the purchase and sale process and take pride in the open communication I share with my clients. Working as your buyer agent I will always protect your best interests. The following is a general summary of the buyer services I provide:    

The assessment of your needs and goals in your home purchase and how they apply towards properties that are currently on the market. A consultation on the appropriateness of various neighborhoods and/or buildings and factors that may affect values and future re-sales. I will give you a thorough estimate of the costs you can expect in buying a home (i.e. land transfer, tax, legal fees, etc.). I will send you listings as they become available. When touring selected homes, I will arrange for private showings so that you can tour the homes undisturbed. When I find a home that interests you, The home's value will be assessed based on multiple criteria including what similar units/homes in the same building and/or area have recently sold for. I will prepare and explain the offer and all related documents. During offer negotiations, I will all my negotiating expertise to ensure that your home is acquired at the best attainable price and terms. After the sale I will monitor and inform you of the progress of the purchase agreement, including the satisfaction of all contingencies and conditions during the entire transaction.
