I might be one of the few realtors in Fairview who actually grew up here, raised a family here--two boys, and am enjoying my golden years (although I am only 59!) here--proud Nana of three grandchildren.  I actually moved to Fairview in 1968 just before my 15th birthday and at the start of freshman year in high school.  You know how traumatic that was for a teenager who came kicking and screaming convinced that leaving my childhood home and friends would ruin my life.  Of couse, that didn't happen.  In fact, being the only NEW GIRL in the class that year, everyone knew my name before the end of the first day and welcomed me into the fold.  My Dad never met a stranger...and neither did I, so the new school, neighborhood and friends was fully embraced.  I loved living in the country, although there were times when the few conveniences we enjoyed (really only one or two small country stores, and a dairy dip) were trying times for my busy family.  Oh how Fairview has changed in the last 44 years!  We now enjoy both sit down and fast food restaurants, national big box stores (with a super Walmart coming soon!); a new Publix grocery to supplement the Food Lion, and Food Saver stores, pharmacies, personal services and much more.  The community is enhanced by a fabulous 640 acre passive park with lakes, hiking and biking trails, horseback trails, playgrounds, picnic pavilions, and a nature center.  Our award winning Williamson County schools remain neighborhood schools with no busing.  What a great place to live!  You won't find anyone else who loves this community more than me, and I can help you find just the right property to meet the needs of your family.  Give me a call....I promise you won't be disappointed.
