Seven years a licensed Realtor® prior to obtaining his Broker's license, Charles Jenkins is the Broker / Owner of Envest Realty Group LLC, based in Middletown, Maryland.  Charles began his career in real estate by selling new homes for national builders Ryland and Pulte before landing in Frederick where he sold homes five and a half years for local homebuilder Ausherman Homes (sold to Drees Homes in 2003).

In 2003 Charles joined Re/Max 100 as a Salesperson and enjoyed expanding his knowledge of the industry, earning his GRI designation.  Mixing general brokerage with new homes sales, in 2005 he joined local custom home builder Mark Lancaster of Lancaster Craftsmen Builders and managed his sales and marketing efforts. It was during this time period when Charles' interest in Green Building and Green Real Estate took hold.

In 2006 Charles was elected to the Frederick Board of County Commissioners, where he served for three years before being appointed to the Maryland House of Delegates.

In January 2011 Charles obtained his Maryland Broker's license and opened up shop in Middletown, co-located in the historic pre-Civil War built office of Lancaster Craftsmen Builders.  How to best incorporate environmentally practical and productive measures into new or existing homes that will enhance their value and marketability is the focus of Envest Realty Group LLC.
