Born and raised in White Plains, NY, I've lived in Oakland for over thirty years. I became a realtor after a long career as a general contractor based in Oakland.  I have renovated numerous homes in Oakland, including moving a condemned victorian cottage and restoring it in 1980. I've developed a great network of tradespeople and resources for buyers and sellers.    I know houses and know how to get the right people involved to help prepare a home for sale or to help evaluate a prospective purchase.   I am especially focused on real estate and communities by Lake Merritt and east of the lake, including Brooklyn, Crocker Highlands, Bella Vista, Eastlake, San Antonio, Haddon Hill, Fruitvale, Laurel, King Estates and more.    Knowing the communities I serve is an asset for my clients.  Personal interests: Home restoration and renovation,  City of Oakland Politics, animal welfare work, particularly feral/homeless cat work.
