Get to Know Edward Harwood
I spent most of my vacation time during my adult life visiting relatives or just exploring North Carolina. My wife and I decided early on that when we retired we were going to move permanently to this beautiful state. After spending time in many areas of the state we decided that our retirement home should be in the mountains that we loved so much.
We built a log cabin several years before we retired from our jobs as police officers in Michigan. It provided us with a quiet and serene place to go when we needed to get away from our hectic lives. We found that one can always find beauty in these mountains regardless of the season. I hope you will come and experience this for yourself.
