HI!

I am a Realtor of 24 years  and Broker/Owner of my own Real Estate firm. I serve as a Director on our association Board, and I am also a mom, wife, friend, pet owner and beachgirl. My company is small, but our listings Sell and we offer uncompromising service to our clients. I have been affiliated w/Century 21, Re/Max, and ERA over the past years and decided five years ago to forgo the big franchises to create the Real Estate company that is exceptional in results and service  to our Buyer/Seller/Investor clients. Part of this was the inspiration from my Star Power training and stubbornness from being told, "It can't be done". Why should a Buyer or Seller want to work w/us? Experience, service and results! We get "outside" the box. Your home for sale is not just a sign in the yard. Your home purchase is not just $, brick, mortar and timber. It's personal and it's a major investment. We take our clients seriously and we take what we are entrusted to do for you, seriously!

Our team includes, my licensed administrative assistant, Heather Moore, and a seasoned Broker, Warren Klawiter, former football coach at Catawba College, "Coach Klaw" who specializes in short sales and foreclosures. He is excellent in this field. Both are an integral part of my firm.  Together, we make it happen! I am always looking for more inovative/good Brokers to join our team.

I became a Realtor in 1986, in Fayetteville, NC w/John Koenig Realtors, just outside the back entrance to Fort Bragg. I was a single mom w/3 young daughters to raise and support. Learning to be a great Realtor and making a living/providing for my children in this purposeful, yet challenging profession, taught me that NOT being one of the best, was not an OPTION! No one told me I couldn't sell homes with interest rates in the teens....I just did it.Markets change. You change with them. Don't let anyone tell you it can't be done!

My Broker insisted that I begin my GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation almost immediately. This was the beginning of many years and $ of training and learning. Survival in this profession, like the Special Ops servicemen and women, who were my first clients, depended on my ability to adapt and overcome an ever changing economic environment. Since those early days, I have completed Floyd Wickman's "Sweat Hogs" (like the name implies) training, my CRS classes 200/201/202, my ABR class(Accredited Buyer Representative), my RRS course(Residential Resort Specialist), my SRES class (Seniors Real Estate Specialist), and most recently, obtained my ASP designation (Accredited Staging Professional). In-between, there have been numerous training classes, seminars, and conferences. While all have impacted my career to make me a better Realtor today, none have had the influence on my career, like Howard Brinton's Star Power training, materials, scripts, dialogs, and continued inspiration from other Star Power Realtors across the country. I have an AA degree from Stratford College, Danville, VA, and my BA degree in Education from UNC-Wilmington. I sold Real Estate in Fayetteville, NC  for eleven years, coastal property on the Crystal Coast for eight years, and five+ years in Salisbury, NC. With 24+ years of happy outcomes, and some, not so happy; in addition to hundreds of closings, the years and my clients, have taught me much. This and life have been my classroom. Real Estate is my passion!
