Doreen is the 2011 PRESIDENT of the Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS. Doreen Johan was named the 2009 REALTOR of the YEAR for SWMAR, and was the 2009 Chairman for the Finance Committee. Doreen has served on the Public Relations Committee since 2001, and remains active on the REIS Technology Committee, after serving as Chairman in 2007. "I love my job" is something you often will hear Doreen say with enthusiasm. Energy and experience, with a desire to exceed expectations describes Doreen Johan. Doreen is active in several charities that include SUITCASES FOR KIDS and Children's Miracle Network, and has membership and offers support to the Krasl Art Center, Curious Kids Museum, Fernwood Botanical Gardens, Fort Miami Heritage Society, Berrien Towne and Country Quilters and the YMCA. Doreen and her husband Doug have enjoyed restoring "this old house" in urban downtown St. Joseph and enjoy collecting nifty 50's memorabilia, antiques and cookbooks.
