Using his inspection and contracting knowledge, Don coordinated our efforts to obtain permits and make repairs allowing us to ask a top price for our home. He and his team staged our home and made it look like a new model. He was in constant communication with us throughout the process of listing, marketing, and selling. | “We put our townhome at 6805 Grimaldi Ct on the market for approximately one year with little success until we took it off the market in December 2011. We kept it off the market for several months trying to decide what our next steps should be. In this interim we received letters from several real estate agents that were interested in selling our townhome. We interviewed several agents and settled on Don Johnson with Keller-Williams. Don really made us feel that he had a genuine interest in partnering with us to get our home sold. We had the home inspected and staged. Don was instrumental in the prep process from getting contractors to provide necessary services to utilizing his contractor background to provide guidance on what to repair as well as how to go about it. Don also had a stager go through the home room by room to make recommendations on ways to make the home attractive to as many buyers as possible. Don was always available to assist from meeting contractors, pitching in with heavy lifting, painting or caulking to making the house constantly presentable. He produced a video of the home and made sure that others realtors were aware of the home and why it was a good product. He truly went the extra mile to help us get the home sold. We got a contract in approximately 30 days on the market and were able to close in a timely manner. | "Don is a realtor that goes above and beyond to make the home sale process as smooth and as pain-free as possible. Not only did he give me recommendations for actionable items to improve the salability of my home, but he provided valuable assistance by working with me to get the list of recommendations implemented and completed. Several examples of his recommendations include sprucing up my landscaping with new plants and mulch, pre-inspecting my home and completing repairs prior to being placed on the market, improving curb appeal by substantially cutting back trees and power washing the driveway, and touching up paint in areas both inside and outside of my house. With regard to marketing, he had a professional photographer prepare a video highlighting the attractive features of my home. Don brings extensive analytical skills when it comes to purchasing properties. There were times that I thought he didn’t want to sell me a house but that is how he works. In my past experiences with real estate agents, they are driven by their desire of a quick commission check even though it is not in the best interest of their clients, that is not him.
