I am an attorney (NH and MA licensed) who has been in the title world for most of my life. My first job was performing title searches in the various NH county registries of deeds. I loved that job, and hope to semi-retire doing the same thing. In the meantime, I run title companies. I was VP of Operations for Market Street Settlement Group, a family-owned title company until it was purchased by what was then Cendant Settlement Services Group, now Title Resource Group (TRG) in 2005. In 2007, I was asked to relocate to Baltimore County, MD and run a large title operation called Mid-Atlantic Settlement Services, which is where I am today.
Simply put, I am committed to enhancing the settlement experience for buyers, sellers, real estate agents and loan officers.
Mine is a relationship business. While it is an obvious necessity that we can properly prepare HUDs, closing documents and title insurance policies, parties to a real estate transaction want to work with people they trust. Trust doesn't "happen" by asking for it or promising it. Trust develops when people know you, like you and want to do business with you because they have - over time - developed a comfort level that you are what you say you are.
