My husband and I owned a mortgage company in Kansas during the refinance boom and life was good for a long time so we thought we would make it better by moving to his hometown in Florida in 2006. Within months of moving to Florida the housing market crashed so we were not able to establish our business. I returned to college to finish my degree and worked part time tutoring. I have learned a lot because of these events and I am thrilled to be a loan officer again. A wise person once said, if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life. I love helping people get their house but more importantly I love helping them understand the house becomes a home when they feel secure in it.
