Foster Spahr Real Estate LLC is an independent, locally owned and operated, full service real estate brokerage specializing in the Maryland metro area real estate market. Based in Downtown Silver Spring, our company was founded in 2009 by Realtor® and lifelong Maryland resident Dan Spahr to create a new standard in the Real Estate market by providing clients with superior customer service, mastery of real estate practices, creative and innovative marketing strategies, and good old-fashion hard work.

At FosterSpahr, you will not find any "administrative fees" or "document fees", and we do not engage in "dual agency''- a common practice (illegal in many states) whereby one agent represents both parties in a single transaction. About Dan Spahr

"I founded Foster Spahr Real Estate in 2009 with the intent of putting the emphasis back on our customers. Our philosophy is simple: Provide superior customer service in everything we do. All too often in today's Real Estate market companies are focused on hiring as many agents and procuring as many listings as possible. And at the end of the day, you become nothing more than a statistic. We do not think this is how Real Estate should be done. So we talked to our customers, we listened to what they want in a Real Estate company, and we struck out on to build a better brokerage."

Dan Spahr has been a licensed agent since 2005 and Dan brings over 10 years of experience in the local residential Real Estate market and over 30 years of local area knoweldge. While developing his business and marketing skills at the corporate level during the 1990's, Dan built up a successful Real Estate investment group on the side and made the decision to set out on his own full time in order to pursue his passions for Real Estate and community service.

Dan has lived in the Washington DC area for over 30 years and currently resides in the Cameron Hill community of Downtown Silver Spring with his wife Stephany Spahr. Dan holds a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland and currently serves as the President of the Board for the Cameron Hill Homeowners Association.
