Even if the home is new construction. A home around 1800 sqare feet will cost around $285 to get an inspection. Geting a home inspection will, as my grandmother would say "Make for a softer pillow at night". We would write that in as a part of a contingency on the "Offer to Purchase" agreement to make sure you are getting the best home for yourself.
