I have been a Realtor since 1985 and joined my present company in the fall of 2012. Before that I spent 28 years with Long and Foster Realtors. Over the course of three decades in the business I have pretty much seen and done all in the residential side of the business. Years of experience gives me a comfort level with all types of buyers and sellers. I pride myself on my ability to negotiate for my client and had a very high success rate getting contracts to closing.
I am married to Elizabeth, a dog trainer, and we live in the Hillandale neighborhood of Silver Spring. Dog training is also my hobby and in addtion I love to play volleyball and study history.
Most of my business is selling residential homes in Montgomery County and the District of Columbia. I have had a lot of experience with estates, foreclosed homes and in the last few years, short sales. The bulk of my business is in Montgomery County but I am familiar and do business in Frederick, Howard, Anne Arundel, and Prince Georges Counties as well as Washington DC. I have a soft spot for older homes but in general like to move around and visit all types of homes. It is a natural fit. All my life I have been in love with houses and architecture. I never get tired of seeing unique homes and love to pass on my enthusiasm to my clients. I also personally believe that a home is one of the best investments that my clients will ever make. For this reason alone, I am positive that the work I do is beneficial.
Three decades of experience in the Washington DC Metro area. Licensed in both DC and Maryland
