Corrine Kibsey - Owner & Lead Stager

I am ASPTM (Accredited Staging Professional) trained and certified, along with being one of the Lead Stagers and co-owners of Simply Chic Décor. My background is in residential construction and design. Working for several years as a Construction Customer Service Liaison for one of Canmore Alberta's largest Developer/Builders, I obtained hands on experience in the new home construction industry. 

With an AutoCAD background, I met with customers to discuss their blueprint changes, select interior design packages and implement and supervise these changes out on the work site with the various contractors and trades people. It was my responsibility to provide customer service throughout the entire building process and do walk throughs to report any deficiencies or defect products at various building stages. Upon the building completion, I was responsible for all Alberta New Homes Warranty work, in addition to managing our company's in house new home construction service department. 

After relocating to Calgary, I continued working in the new home construction field doing various design work for companies providing my services in the home construction industry. From there I branched out and obtained further in-class instruction and hands on training in other fields of design. One of my specialties and passions is studying colour and doing Colour Consultations for our clients, as well as subcontracting to other companies to do on site or in home Colour Consultations. If you are looking to change the colours in your home or business and or looking for just the right colour on your walls to help sell your home I'm the right person for the job!

Several years ago I connected with my now business partner and co-owner Dena Sendecki CSP & Interior Decorator. After forming Simply Chic Décor, together we worked on many projects doing complete design packages for several local builders, new home construction, renovators, and commercial property developers as well. Together we continued to do a multitude of design work and eventually found our way into staging or should I say staging found us! The one thing I can say for sure is I LOVE my job and the ability to continue to be creative in the design field. I have a GREAT business partner who has the same drive and passion for the industry as I do. Who could ask for more!
