I am a Professional Home Stager in Dallas and Rockwall Counties and surrounding areas, as well as Cedar Creek Lake. I have had a passion for decorating and re-arranging my whole life, I just didn't know what it was called back then. After years of rearranging my friends and family members' homes and watching HGTV, talking to the television, I decided I really CAN DO THAT!
I staged my first house in Richardson, TX. The owner/investor attempted to sell the home himself with just a sign in the yard for the first two weeks, with no interest. His wife "convinced" him to list it on the MLS and he received 2 offers the first day, one of which was a full price offer. The home is currently under contract and scheduled to close at the end of the month.
I also have a special place in my heart for helping others. I've always considered myself a humanitarian. Volunteering fills a void in my heart like nothing else can. My daughters and I have been volunteers for Meals on Wheels in Rockwall County for a little over 2 years. I have also recently taken on the new Social Media Volunteer postition for the Rockwall Area Habitat for Humanity. I set up a "cause" on my Facebook (Charlotte Murphy Lloyd) account, we are now on LinkedIn and Twitter (RockwallHabitat). My goal is to bring awareness to the group, most people do not realize Rockwall builds Habitat houses, and to help find applicants for a Habitat House. Since few people know there is a Rockwall Area Habitat for Humanity, few people apply to be qualified for a house. I am out to change that!
